General Sahin!!

Hi everyone it's my first time to post here ...

i own a Sahin which is fiat131 by turkish manifacutre called Tofas...

it has a good engine 1.6 8v puts out about 80 to 90 hp

i was wondering if i can do any mods in this car (only for the engine) cause the car looks like OLD LADA lol ..

the problem is the car do not accelerate as it should be "never beat any 1.3 japanese car" it SUCKS i need this thing to accelerate faster what should i do????

Hi, welcome to the forums. Do you have a picture of your car, never seen one. Is the engine the same as a Tipo 1.6 8v?

Hi and thanks for reply ... here's a pic of the car i didnt have my own pics yet but as soon as i can.

and not sure if it's the same tipo but what i know is some parts of the engine fits with the 131 1600 1984...

i was thinking of intake filters or sparks plugs with 3 or 4 heads

engine modification is not so easy for me so i'm just trying something simple and easy to install.

any ideas could help?

No it's not!!

To be honest the old 1600 engine from the 131, which is what your car was in the 70s, was never that fast, you need a twin cam!!! Air filters and a performance exhaust wont really make a lot of difference to performance.

Had a ride in a brand new Tofas in Egypt was ok. Saloons are held in much higher esteem there than hatchbacks. I thought it looked like it was based on the old Strada/Ritmo tho?
