Hi guys,

So we run Sage 50 Multi Companies at work. Unfortunately we have lost the password so to speak and im after getting hold of the 'Manager' password or any users password.

Ive read up i can open up the setup.dta file somehow and get it from there. But i do not know how to.

There is also www.accpwr.co.uk but it costs £50 and id rather not pay £50

Anyone got any ideas or advice? I can provide you with a Personal/Work email, Windows Live ID or even a telephone number to talk about it.

Ohh come on stu, i know you! although ive tried all the usual places, i just dont like spending even pennies

Did you manage to sort this out? depending how the password is stored you might be able to get it back yourself.

Also you can generally open certian files using notepad and browse within them.
