Can anyone please advise on the following?.
Last night going to work my brava's(1.8) engine started running rough. Did'nt notice it until i stopped at traffic lights. First thing i noticed was a vibration at idle(more than usual), then it seemed to be down on power, and finally there's a "putt putt"(best way to describe it) noise coming out of the exhaust. Is this a misfire?(never had one before). What could be the possible cause?
Any advice welcome

Forgot to mention, no problem with injector light coming and staying on.

i also have a 1.8 i have had that problem to.
on mine it was the coil.it as 4 coils and all of them could be gone or 1 or 2 they are priced at 70 quid each
it,s best to get it cheaked out

Cheers tony, its going in to vardy(oh no!) on friday.
If its the coils then at least they are on the crap warranty i got with the car. Fingers crossed!!!
