General Running Boards

Does anyone have any experience with sourcing or fitting running boards to the sides of a Ulysse?

I have a two kids under 5 and a mother-in-law over 70 who could use the extra step!

Besides, I think they would look cool (or am I just a sad git who wants to pretend he's driving the A-Team van? :life: )

I haven't seen any mysefl, but I am guessing that it will be difficult to find fixings strong enough to hold the boards on. Normally on 4x4 cars they have special mounting holes in the chassis.

If it were my mother in law, I would jack up the suspension and make it even harder to get in so that we could leave her behind

thaught about fitting side steps to . i have a 1997 ulysse also thought about an a bar for the front the wife went mad no way she said .its not over yet ill get my way 1 set of shogun side steps weld up some brackets and job done [well i can dream] one day soon
