Rough idling when cold.Help please..

Hi all
I've noticed over the last couple of mornings that when I start my Brava from cold it idles at around 1500 rpm quite roughly until such time that the engine warms up and idle evens out.
is this a likely problem or does this sound normal for a 1.6 16v..?
Anything worth checking here?

Its normal for it to idle at 1500rpm until it gets warm.

Thats good news at least ...I was expecting it to idle a bit more smoothly though even at 1500
its not noisy or anything just a bit 'rough'.

Your spark plugs are probably worn. But small 4cly engines don't run smoothly when they are on warmup.
