Hurrah! Another 1.4 8v'er. Mine is too

I like your GP, its coming along nicely so far.

I really have to ask, where did you get the bits to fit the front fogs? I have original fogs for my GP off a sporting, but no bolts ect. I'm assuming yours are original right...

Thanks man! I sourced mine from a local Lancia garage that bought them in for us, and the bits to mount them with were either included or already fitted to the bumper. I'm not sure where the garage bought the kit from, but the two fog lights were only half the price they would've been from Fiat.

There are holes on the inside i believe. dombooth had a 'feel' back at MITCar last year and said i just needed to get the lights, and bits to fit them with, as for the car he whatever is needed from that point of view is there i believe.

Andy Monty self fitted his fog lights when he had a GP.

As far as I know the holes are there but you need to wire up yourself.

Do a search there are LOADS of threads on the subject litterally LOADS there will be my wiring diagram floating abotu and one member in the past week has found the matching plugs for the lamps on ebay i think it was

I wish I could give you a little more guidance from experience, but it was a fair while ago that we fitted them. There are three mounting screws for the fog light on each bracket behind the plastic covers, which should just clip out if I remember rightly although as was said in an earlier post a forum guide would be the best way to go about it

Best of luck with the lights of course! They do improve the look of the car massively, and makes the GP look the way it was intended. It's not too long a job either, and if you shop around the parts are fairly cheap

A few small updates really since the last post:

Leather sport gearknob and handbrake gaiter

And I've acquired a lovely set of leather coupe seats for an equally lovely £150 - I'll be fitting them over the next couple of weeks, after a lot of modification and shouting most likely

I'll take some pictures as we go, and make a guide for anyone thinking of attempting swapping the seats

I apologise for YET another post, but I'm still getting used to the iPod app, and I think it's actually in the right place this time!

This is Rosalia: she's only an 8V 1.4, but plenty enough for a first car. I've had my Fiat for about a year and a half now, and I'm loving it.

I've fitted some GP Evo wheels, front foglights and painted a few bits - the easy things really - but I've got a few bits on order to get my hands dirty with over the summer, including Abarth headlights, new exhaust, side repeaters, and some other little bits like interior vinyls and gearstick.

Looks nice mate, I'm liking the yellow brake calipers and is that a shark find aerial I see? Looking good.

The badges do look nice on the red car, guess I'm going to have to look at getting some

Just noticed from your first post photo that you didn't have the lower fogs and then on these photos you do, how did you retro fit them mate?

Did you do it yourself and hoe much was they please?

A friend of mine helped me fit them - it came to about £100 for all of the bits and bobs, including the lights themselves at £50 - there are plenty of guides on the forum, as was mentioned earlier in this thread if you want to do it yourself. At a garage, it would've been £250 for the parts and two hours' labour.

One important thing on that front, DO NOT buy the Fiat fog light switch panel (like this one but with the front fog button)

This is because the new one will not plug straight in, and will mess with the cars 'brain', an expensive fix. We instead put a normal switch in the cavity below, a much easier and cheaper alternative
