Technical Roof bars

Hello
I put recently roof bars on my Idea (like on a picture bellow). Roof bars are hand made. I am not shure if they stand very well. It seems like front one is lower than the rear one. Should I put something under front to get the same hight?

Hi,
as longs as they are securely fixed to car roof,
AND a flat item placed on bars doesn't touch the roof, you will be fine,

Thank you, charlie. I want to borrow roof box from a friend for a vacation. Thule carriers are too expenxive for me, and these are much, much stronger for some other heavier stuff.
