General roaring noise - driving in wet

Hi,
on the few occasions i've driven my TA in wet conditions ,
I get an annoying ROAR like noise presumably from the water off front wheels hitting the bodywork / floorpan,

it seems an "outside" noise - rather than drumming on the floor ,

anybody else noticed this..??

it's only there on wet roads.,

Not noticed that one, but I do have a wind like noise from the drivers door area only when its wet.

Strange! but the guy at the garage seemed to "know" about it as if t was a common thing

Perhaps it can be your tires ?

glad it's NOT just me

car has 5000 miles on standard factory tyres,

I wonder if it's a design thing.. maybe carried on from the GP's / EVO..??,
