Please help! I have a fiat marea weekend 1.2 1999.
It is revving up and down when it should be idling. I´ve replaced the stepper motor and had the butterfly valve checked and cleaned. If I remove the stepper motor it stalls but adjusting the idle screw brings it back but then it starts dropping out the revs while driving so cannot be driven. I have a feeling that somthing is telling the contol valve to do this revving but I´m at a complete loss to the cause... I've also spent all my money trying to fix this.
