General reversing bulb

im getting peeved off with the brightness of the reverse light, I do astronomy as a hobby and tend to go to very dark rural places and the reverse light is virtually non existant , as anyone upgraded to a better brighter bulb

i stand by to be corrected, but i always believed the reversing lights were there to inform others that you were revesing or about to reverse rather than lighting the way....( this obviously doesn't apply in supermarket car parks, where they become invisible)

While that may be true, I don't suppose it would cause any harm to have them a little brighter to light the area at the rear of the vehicle...

Never tried any new reverse bulbs myself but you could always try one like this;

Just make sure you chose white in the drop down on the right haha. Bulb size/type is '382' in case you want to search other sites.
