Hi everyone,
I am currently retrofitting the Trip computer button (board computer) on my Fiat Panda 169.
I have removed the instrument cluster and noticed that my connector has 18 pins in total (two rows of 9 pins).
Does anyone happen to know the exact pinout for this 18-pin connector? Specifically, which two pins are responsible for the Trip button signal so I can wire up my custom push button?
Any help, wiring diagrams, or pin numbers would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Just change the dash and stalk for the dynamic and use software to recalibrate the milage

It's plug and play

Muiltiecuscan will only adjust upwards (milage has to be lower than the original) but there quite a few other software that will adjust both ways

Thanks for the info!
However, I really just need to know the exact pins because I am planning to wire in a custom push button myself rather than swapping the whole stalk.
I actually saw a video on YouTube a while ago where someone did exactly this, but unfortunately, I can't seem to find it anymore.
So if anyone knows the pinout for the 18-pin connector, please let me know!

Thanks again for your help with the pinout!
Since I am planning to do this mod myself, I want to make sure I don't accidentally cause a short circuit or damage the Body Computer.
Would it be possible for you to provide a bit more detail on how to identify the correct connector on the Body Computer (M001)? If you happen to have a photo of that specific connector or could describe the location/color of the plug more precisely, that would be incredibly helpful for me to ensure I’m pinning the right wire.
Thanks a lot for your time

There's no guarantee on colours fiat like to change things around

The dash connector is in two pieces

You want the side without the end lugs

The wiring is complete up to the stalk

Wouldn't it be easier to attach your button at this point

Thanks again for all the information!
I have a question about the 'Trip' signal at pin 4 of the dashboard connector. To make sure I understand the circuit correctly: Is it possible to trigger this signal differently, for example by connecting pin 4 to ground instead of bridging it to the Body Computer?
The reason I'm asking is that accessing the Body Computer (M001) to make a clean connection seems quite difficult and physically challenging due to the limited space. I’m trying to understand if pin 4 expects a ground signal or a specific voltage to cycle through the trip menu, so I can find the safest and most practical way to trigger this function.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
