Following my other thread, I'm thinking of getting my ride quality back by putting the original springs on, but I don't want it to look too ****.

With my skirts it should look better, so anyone who has an abarth kit/skirts on with 17's not lowered, and anyone who has a pic of a Bravo on 17's even without the skirts, please can you post your pic ;)

Cheers! :)

these were both taken shortly after putting the wheels on, she did settle a bit further down after that, but the only pics i have are of it lowered now

great pics lads thank you very much!

decided i'm gonna put the originals back on - fed up of having a harsh ride - i'm getting older and am gonna go for comfort over looks cos she looks mint sat on the floor :)

but with the skirts she should still look quite low, and your cars all look good even when they're not lowered!

thanks lads, appreciated! ;)

Here's mine when they were on:

bless it, looks like its on stilts compared to how it is now.

cheers insy!

it looks fine doesn't it!

i think we're quite lucky in terms of looks when bigger wheels are on, cos the bravo sits quite low anyway (a fiat garage once asked me if it had been lowered even when it hadn't when i just had my 15's and skirts on) where as if you put 17's on a punto it looks like it's on stilts and i really don't want that look, but yeah, it looks fine.

thanks mate, appreciated! ;)

cheers for them dan, i remember though when you hadn't lowered yours i thought yours always looked alright...

i'm probably not going to be impressed when i pick her up tomorrow with original springs back on, but after they settle i can always do things to make them sit a little bit lower...

and i'll have my comfort back cos my ride has been so bad recently on the crap UK roads! :(

y'know, it could be that you needed to replace the shocks, and not the springs? they make a big difference too...

i think its better lowered a little. even just 30mm on eibach springs.

it's the shocks that i'm having replaced mate... the springs are only just over a year and a half old so i wasn't going to replace them...

thank you for them mate - looks good! :)

always liked your car, and not being lowered doesn't matter, it still looks good! :)

cheers mate!

they all sit pretty well... just took mine in to be done now so i'll get some pics up in a couple of days when the springs have settled :)

can't wait to drive it without the stiff ride.

all done! :)

it looks fine, will look even better when settled, and a note to everyone in this thread who's got 17's not lowered, don't lower your car if you drive on bad roads like i have here! ;)

hahaha, no chance, i live down an unmade road and have crappy roads etc, but there is no way in hell im gonna have her sit any higher :) lower maybe :);)

another not to people who have a kit and lowered with a load of ice and 3 people in ur car. PRAY... got my credit card out and the smallest side as u look at it wouldnt fit under teh car :S
