Has anyone done this and got a guide at all or have I drawn the short straw ? Also, what do I need to do to make sure the airbag doesn't give me a face full when I take the steering wheel off ? Cheers Gav

Disconnect the battery, leave the car for 30mins to 1h, unscrew the air bag, take off the air bag ?wire ring? unscrew the stalk.

Also remove the fuse for the Airbag, IMPORTANT!!!

i didn't remove the fuse.
if you feel wary of the airbag going off in your chops, turn the ignition on from outside the car the first time you start it after you refit it. Theres actually only a couple of screws (3 iirc) to take the whole wheel off
