Technical Replacement sump plug - dimensions

I have a '08 1.4 Bravo and tried to get the sump plug out on the driveway but failed. I found the nut a bit wallered up and couldn't get a socket or ring spanner on it, especially since it's counter sunk and the hex side of it has such a low freaking profile. Being 6'4, clambering around under there with my long limbs is no fun.

One way or another I'll get the plug out but I was hoping to find an allen style or a nut with a taller profile to replace it. Any idea what dimensions I'd need to find?

Weld something on to it... the heat should get it to loosen up.

This seems to be the fella I need. It appears to be the same as the original but has a taller profile in the hex making it a bit easier to get a socket on, I reckon.
