Hello,
The o/s dip beam bulb on our Fiat 500 2014 1.2 Lounge has just failed.

Looking on Eurocar Parts, there seems to be a wide range of 60%, 200% or even 220% brighter 'compatible' H7 bulbs (lamps) that "may be" compatible. The dip lights in my opinion are a bit dim.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a brighter bulb that works well on the 500?

Many thanks in advance.

200% or even 220% brighter
I'd take those percentages with a pinch of salt, if I were you.
So is it 2014 or 2017, I didn't quite understand your model & year entries?

I personally would stick with anything Osram, their Night-Breaker series has always been reliable and bright.

Edit:
Oh, I've just noticed they are the ones quoting 220%, mmm... they are quite bright, still it depends on what you are using as a reference. Compared to a candle I suppose they are multiple times better...

It's a 2014. I'll try to remove the reference to 2017.
Yes, I'm not so sure of the 'claims' hence why I'm asking for experiences.
Have you used OSRAM Night-breakers on a 2014 500? I am also concerned about potentially overloading something - wiring or generating too much heat, etc, etc.

I used to use the Osram night breaker bulbs in my motorcycles as they give a brighter, whiter light so better for seeing and been seen in the case of motorcycles. They are the same wattage as original so don't consume any more power and they do run a bit hotter, but not hot enough to damage the mounting, reflector etc.
