It is going good with the engine.
I only have one litle problem - I think it is a litle uneven idling. Just a litle.
Do you think it is the ECU after I have the power disconected?
Is it a good idea to put in some Injector cleaner ?
Could be although they tend to sort themselves out very quickly. Usually leak somewhere on the inlet. Usual culprits would be map sensor vac line or throttle body mating surfaces but really could be anywhere as the whole thing as been apart. Try disconnecting battery for few mins to reset again and then let it idle upto temp until the rad fan is cycling on and off and then turn car off. If its still hunting a bit after that its not the ecu.
I am a kind of happy man
Because I just took a compression test to see if there are similar compression on all 4 cylinders after the big repair.
11.5 bar on all 4!
I do not know what is normal in a Punto.
This is my first water-cooled engine, but I have made many air-cooled and thats whyI know it is important that all 4 are similar.
I allso did reset the ECU and it seems to have made a diferens.
But now i know the inner engine is okay
