Technical removing single din radio facia complete

Hi guys n gals
Have a sony 2020, and removal clips, after removing sony, I want to replace it with a Blaupunkt complete OEM cd unit I have just acquired. (can cleared).

What I would like to know is any tips on removing the facia plate ? the one with the radio location at the bottom and the compartment tray at the top.
The whole lot needs to come out as the OEM unit fills the space. Will also stop 'HID' putting crap in the cubby hole lol
Any special tips before I go poking about. ?

Once the single din is removed you'll see the single din holder is retained in place with a few screws from memory. Remove these and it'll pull out

I must confess it would be the first thing that just 'pulled' out, most either drop off or a held on with 5000 clips:yum:
I will go with your wisdom and give it a good pull whfter removing all visible screws /fixings, many thanks.
Note to self, remember to do mp3 source in mod BEFORE fitting new Blaupunkt OEM unit !!!
