Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get these off without damaging any paint work please?

When i tried to take them off it started making a cracking sorta noise so i didnt wanna push them any further. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Mike

They push front to back. all you need to do is get something like a feeler guage, wrap it in cotton ie, an old tshirt or something so as not to damage the paint. insert it under the front of the repeater then push back and out. They're a bit stiff but they're pretty easy to get out.
