Hello,

Is it hard to remove the badges from the side of the car (near the indicator)?

I heard you need to run a hairdryer first and then some nylon to loosen the glue? Any tips would be appreciated.

My car was shunted last month and came back from the repair garage with one of the badges missing. I cant be arsed to chase the garage up for this (although I got them to sign that it was missing). THe garage is 15 miles away so I would just remove the other badge than faff about. It looks silly with just one side done.

I took my badges off very careful with a screwdriver and the glue with gasoline (Super 95)and an old t-shirt. I know you shouldn´t do that to your car but if you´re working fast it shouldn´t make you any problems, afterwards you clean the places with water. Besides, the car looks much better without side-badges! Regards, Klaus

No prob!

I removed ALL the badges from my car heating them first with a "hi-tech" hairdryer :) and then passing a thin plastic between the badge and the paint job. No scratches, no probs!
In case there is some glue left, try with a soft cloth and some warm-soaped water.

Good luck!
