Hi all,

Just wondering how to remove the black cap I've circled in this picture, I presume that's where the oil filter is located.

Also, once the cap is off, how do I remove the oil filter? It seems that there's a coolant hose in the way, and I don't wanna have to drain all the coolant to take off the hose.

Undo it using a 24/27mm (can't remember) socket on the moulded-in hex on the top.

There's no need to remove any coolant pipes to change the filter.

Yeah sorry if that sounded rude Ian, was just curious lol. I'm gonna give it a try maybe tomorrow if I get a chance.

lol...just remember the poor tech that has to carry out the service only for customer to complain about cost of servicing!

No you don't take bumper off ;)

Yeah! Every time I work on the car I feel sorry for the fiat technicians, but fiat could make their lives easier in so many ways, such as using jubilee clips for example..

Made all the worser when the customer arrives late on a saturday afternoon and demands the 2 hour service done in 30mins with a red-hot turbo next to the oil filter. :bang: Used to happen all the time!

Modern car designers know/care nothing about having to work on the cars. :(

Hi,
could someone advise which engine is on the above picture? I was looking for oil filter on my Bravo's T-jet engine, but I couldn't find it. can someone help me?

Any one knows which website to purchase the oil filter cap for 0.9 twinair? The inside seemed very fragile and I'd like to keep a spare.
