removing headlights

Ok, i've been at it for a while now, but i just can't get the damn headlights off

(i'm talking whole unit, not just the bulbs)

I unscrewed the two bolts at the top of the light so it was loose, and then tried to pull it out a bit to give me some leway to remove the cabling, but it just won't come out.

As if there is something holding it in the corner nearest wheels....

also, how the heck do you remove the wiring anyway, there doesn't seem to be any clip or anything, just a solid unit(s)?

Point of it all is i'm tinting the lights with some film stuff, so they need to be out to get a good fit...

Yes you're correct m8. They are held on by a sort of ball joint that gos in to a peice of plastic which inturn go's in to the inner wing.

If you pull them in a few directions but mainly towards the middle sof the car they should come out.
