I was thinking about getting a rear bumper from the breakers and removing the bumpstrips and getting it resprayed! What should i use to fill in the space where the bump strip was? Where can i get it from? Thnaks

removing the bumpstrips will mean actually splitting the bumper and re joining it, as they arent bumpstrips liek along the doors,

they are just a shape in the plastic of the bumper if you get me.

i woudl fibreglass over the back lots first to make it solid then sand/grind/whatever till you make it smooth on the outside.

no worries,

you will see what i mean when you take the bumper off the car.

oh and when i did the frotn ones on my bumper it took ages to sand the plastic, i dont know if there is a better way than sanding!
 
i thinkin about removing my side bumpstrips, because they are startin to hang off and warp, what can i use to fill in gap, is it easy to do?
