Hey doods, can anyone tell me how to remove the side repeaters on my 500? Preferably so I can put them back again? :D Noticed the other day when I washed it that there is green algae growing under the edge, so thought I might remove them and clean it off. Thanks!

I think using a credit card was the advice I'd heard before.

Hi Mick, long time no hear from. Glad you still have the 500, are you sure the green stuff isn't paint from the side of my house, lol.

Regarding Daniel's advice above, if you can't actually get them off you can still use the credit card to pay someone else to do it for you.

Try a tooth brush with a little detergent on it, if you feel you might have problems getting them off. (y)

Its good to know we are still on the same wavelength Grim, as that is exactly what I thought! Do they just prise off then? Think I shall try the toothbrush method or similar! PS all well here apart from both of us being out of a job at the mo because of loss of funding.

bummer about the job. I know the feeling :(

Cheers both for the good wishes, I had an interview on Friday that I will hear about next week, and Chris has an interview for two posts on Tuesday, so hopefully we will both be working again soon.

Didn't take me long to go off topic again did it? Erm side repeaters, ooh mucky. Talking of bummers, one of em scratched my sport stripe a while back, so had to stick a bit of badly matched red vinyl over it. Cant keep em perfect forever can you?

Best of luck. My contract runs out at the end of the year though I think it will be renewed. Don't want to be at home again.......

Good luck with that Maxi. The one I went for on Friday is a short contract but its horrible out in the job market, if you can call it that when there are very few jobs out there! Don't suppose I should really be on here speccing an Abarth 500c in two tone black/white that comes in at £19600...

Let us know how you get on, the algae is under mine too.
Good to see some of the old faces still around, not been on for ages, but don't worry, that's because Luigi sits on 33k miles, fault free too.
