removed airbox

after taking a saw to my old air box and snapping it into pieces before removing it, i noticed the two wires there are connected to it, what are they for and what shall i do with them now i have an air filter and dont need the air box thingy?

Air pressure or something not too sure as i own a 1.6
but i remember something about the 1.4 having a couple of wires attached to a small pink sensor thing that i believe you will need to keep.
Someone that knows about it will post soon i'm sure.

yeh, its attatched to a small pink thingy in the airbox
