Technical Remote wont work!

Luckily, it opened the car and disabled the alarm, but now it wont lock. I stopped off at the Fiat dealer in Wolvo and got the batteries in the key changed, but no different. Any suggestions as to what to look at next?

Maybe a silly question but have you tried the other blue key?

If that doesn't work it's probably the receiver unit in the interior light housing. Check for water in the roof lining underneath the housing as this seems to be coming up quite a lot on the Bravo Forum at the moment.

Checked for water ingress, no sign am 'fraid. Can only put it down to the sensor failure (as you suggested) or chronic key failure. Will keep y'all posted.

TBH chap it may be cheaper to have an aftermarket system put in rather than try to fix the existing one. If you get a Cat 1 system it should pay for itself in lower insurance premiums within it's lifetime.
