remote lead

can any bit of wire be used for the remote lead?

the one i got isnt big enough but have metres of old speaker wire left over

dont know about speaker wire? but apperently it doesnt matter much because it carries such a small current and voltage

No problem at all, or normal 'bell' wire is ok.

after months of searching for a hole for the powerlead i stumbled across one today, so thought it would be wrong not to do anything about it

wish i never sold my monobloc now though

i couldnt find the hole that way , the way i did it seemed much easier and i only needed to push out a white plastic clip - i didnt fancy poking round i didnt know what i might break

i could smell burning when i hooked the amp up so pulled the plug on it sharpish

i cant find any suitable earthing points in the punto, well not any that are easy access or dont require me to cut bits of the car

would the bolt holding the bootlock in place be suitable?
