remote key help

need help my key was working fine but just yesterday when i lock it it locks beep... and then few secs later beep again ? why ?

Did you try with a battery change ?

Basically you know how you lock your car with your fob key. i click it and normally the car locks with a few seconds of BEEEEEPPP.. but now the car locks like BEEEEEPP then few secs later there another BEEEP dont know why ?

nope i havent tryd and changed the battery yet? do you think that might cause it?

It's normally w warning thr you have left something open.

As mentioned it a warning to alert you to something open.

Check all doors, boot and bonnet. If all closed then Id assume one of the sensors isnt working correctly

what alarm fob have you got? standard factory fitted or a meta 1 with black fob button?

hi yes i have checked about 3 times that everything is closed. which sensor can it be and also can you replace the sensor? and yes its the standard fob. cheers

also forgot to say in this winter my boot is jammed and cannot open it sometimes? can that be the problem? but it has been jammed for months and i can open the boot but its hard to open at times.. its been like that for months and didnt have problem with the remote locking.. but just yesterday it started doing it cheers

The sensors are switches in the locks, so it can be the boot. Spray WD40 in the lock using the straw and lots of it, should do the job.

My money would be on the bonnet sensor. Mine did this between having the front end bump and getting it repaired.
