So i had to cancel my map due to the car going back to the dealer for work.

So this got me thinking  , i want to make the most of the map + dpf delete .

Has anyone seen any results in getting a catback (2.5") and k&n filter . Once remapped , how much psi are these turbos good for before they run out of efficiency.

Car is a 165 m jet , i want to get from slow to brisk .

220bhp /340lb ft should do it , if its achievable .

A good remap shop will handle that for you that's why good remaps are multistage.
the first stage remap is in the safe zone, you drive it for a while to get the engine used to it and then if you want more you go back for stage 2 where they squeeze every bit out of your engine.
the optimal psi and other map parameters will vary from car to car, it's no use for you to know what other people have.

With a stage 2 remap, your clutch will check out before the turbo. unless your turbo has manufacturing flaws that aren't apparent with normal use.

Thanks , i dont care for "stages" . Im a guy that likes to bolt stuff on , then map to those mods.

What do you guys use for a uprated clutch. What is the rating on the stock one.

180 bhp is what people who like to have a working clutch aim for.

I never searched for an upgraded clutch since I'm still on the stock one and will probably replace it with another stock one when burned out as it proved very reliable.

If you are going for stage 2, which i will be soon, you are looking at bigger injectors, free flow intercooler, free flow air filer or similar, dpf hollowout, egr delete, uprated fuel pump and clutch.. unless you go into bigger turbo and such

Do you have a link to intercoolers ,cant find a go to performance shop for these

171706390500 this one on ebay.. rated to 350 bhp and 45psi of boost, im looking for the specs on the oem

That's just a generic one. I take it no one actually makes a proper kit then .

Making up your own pipework is a nightmare

The silicone pipes on the current one arnt the problem its the makeup of the intercooler its self, you dont need to make your own pipes up.. all intercoolers are generic its just the size that changes..

Update

I have spoken to perrys and they aint sure where the oil leak is coming from. Im guessing the main seal but lets see how good there "mechanics" are.

I have a feeling that i will have to reject this car :(
