Grande Punto Remap Day!

Hi all, another newbie here picked up my GP 1.9 mjet yesterday and already thinking about a remap. I know a company in west yorkshire that use the Black Code remaps - check out black-code.co.uk - personalised maps and they even offer 14 day money back guarantee if for whatever reason youre not happy. I get trade pricing (through my work) so I can pass on the discounts to whoever is interested, I was quoted £225 (normally £300), although could be less for a few cars! I personally wont be ready til feb/march to go ahead with it if this january map day is too soon for anyone else. If any interest I will get a quote for multiple cars.

Mobile remaps are pointless for cars with mods. To get the full benefit of any mods youve done youll need a custom map done on a RR which P-torque does provide

Apparently it is custom, they send the current map to the office and send back an updated map to suit the vehicle. I'm no expert just going by the videos and info on their site

i'd avoid any with a website like that, the good tunners normally have very basic crap looking websites with not a lot more than name and address

Thats good! Once I get everyone to 100% confirm in the next few days, ill phone will and qsk him how he wants to do it. Most likely phone up quote my name and that your in the group deal. Then pay your deposit and agree a date in January with him. So can I please get the names of people coming and ready to pay the deposit.(£20).

Considering I'm moving house next month and got a LOT of time/expenses being eaten up, I shouldn't be doing this... but ah well, I'll pretend remapping is an 'investment'

Does the discount still stand? Still looking at £276 from P-torque?

You guys should have negotiatied harder, I got a group remap done with Angel and done a deal at £200 each, they came out to us at one location..............

Should have? We've not committed to anything yet. From what I've read from various sources, P-torque beat Angel tuning hands down. If you want to provide decent advice then go ahead, but comparing prices is like another 'my insurance is £150 cheaper than yours' thread.

Angel is not up to the standard of p-torque in terms of reliability, experience and a quick google search will back that. So far its me,m0rg,cadabena and m0rgs friend. Is this correct? If so one more and we can shoot the deposits in and get our dates
