refilling air con

can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it costs to get air conditioning regassed ????

I am thinking of buying a new motor but the advert says that the air con needs refilling ...

Kwik fit have a good air con service apparently, think it's about £40-50 for a clean out and re-gas. Mine needs done too.

I just had a look at their web site and it says all makes and models ...#45.99

nice one mate ...at least I know how much it will be now ....makes the decision slightly easier ...lol

It's good they include the clean out especially if the aircon hasn't been operational for a while...I imagine the bacteria and whatnot in there would stink out the car something terrible.

just got mine done by halfords and wouldn't recomend it all they did was regas it using one of them do it yourself bottles and then gave me a clean thing to put it behind the seats to clean it which they didn't even do untill i asked about it and didn't even do it.. just gave it me to do myself my advise would be to take it to a propper garage and get it done for 30-40quid more by a propper mechanic with a machine for it
