Redex ....?

I got some redex petrol injection today , did i buy the right 1 for my punto 1.2 8v petrol ...?

Tbh i think i did get the right one as on the back of the bottle says for petrol,injectors and intercooled engines

Im tempted to pour it sraight in the carb and bare with the smoke

Ive been told to pour it in neat it will get done quicker and do more cleaning inside ?

you dont have a carb so dont do that, if you can take it back then take it back and get some forte or comma add to tank stuff, or just fill up with v power next couple of times you get fuel

well yano where a ford focus induction kit would be fitted that hole i forgot the name lmao throttle body ?

Yes it's the throttle body. Lots of people mostly older people think it's a carb due to the way it's mounted.

If it's unopened take it back. Complete waste of money. Like dave says get the better stuff and add it to your fuel.

pour brake fluid through your throttle body mate...cleans it spotless...makes sh*T loads off white smoke flowing out everywhere but it works mate many have done it

BTW i never tryed it on my engine lol might do some day but me engines working fine atm so no point lol

dont know was never my idea but been told it works at college and seen it done on cars before...done it on a couple and doesnt really make a difference to performance just gives the valves a good clean thats all...or just use carb cleaner lol

pouring in fuel tank will clean injectors and pouring in throttle cleans valves better

Its then Burnt - and very little touchs the Valves really

Used a few Bottles of the stuff - its Okay
But again it help but only a little bit
MPG did go back up by 1 or 2
But i wasn't the best with my feet

Wrong- unless Fiat made a direct injection FIRE engine?

Injectors fire into the intake port (just before entering the head) and the fuel/air swirls and flows over the valve as it enters the combustion chamber.

Pouring a bottle into the throttle body could lead to hydro-locking the engine.
