RED WARNING LIGHT

I have a warning light keeps coming on after a few seconds when i start car up and car drives like **** and i think its the fuel injection warning light. if i turn engine off and then back on again it disappears. what does this mean? are the injectors knackered. I have an HGT

Can be many things...
You should get the fault code read by a Fiat dealer to know whats the problem...sounds åerhaps like your Lambda is a bit faulty???

sorry to show my ignorance but what is a Lambda and what does it do

It will be a faulty sensor, get to fiat.

If it was an injector, the light would come on when you accelerate and go off when you lift off the throttle.

If its on all the time its a dead sensor.
