Technical Red light on Fiat Copue!

Hi guys!

I have a P reg 20V Turbo Fiat Coupe and this morning noticed that a red sign has appeared smack bang in the middle of the display panel when driving.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows what it relates to?

It could be anything currently.. handbrake warning? brake wear indicator? engine management? oil level/pressure?

Do you have your manual - it tells you what warning symbols mean what.

Yeah, have the book at home but as I've just got to work was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

Sounds a bit silly but I can't really make it out.

does it look like a hose pipe squirting water? that is the fuel injection system fault light, which means the ecu has detected a fault. there are thousands of possible causes, so without any symptoms to use as clues you will need to get a diagnostic done to determine the fault code(s).

Your best bet is to get it checked on a diagnostic machine to find out why the light is coming on at all, as the injector light will only flash up if it detects a problem with the car. Does the light stay on, or go out fairly soon after it comes on? Does it happen more when hot/cold?
