Red light on dash board...strange thing...

after my drive home form work today, i parked my car, forgot to take it out of gear before releasng the clutch and stalled the car..nothing strange there apart form me being an idiot.
the strange thing is that when i switched the ignition completely off, the red alarm light flashed on for about 1 or 2 seconds then went off..i started turned off the car again and it did it again. It did it 4 times before i decided i was cold and went inside, but when i came out to the car again bout 20 mins later, it didnt do it?
Any idea what could have caused this?

I don't know matey, but mine used to do it all the time if the engine didn't catch first time or I stalled it.

I wouldn't worry about it.
