Red key

I'm thinking of buying a bravo to replace my dead bravo, but i know that the one i am thinking of buying doesn't have the red key. In theory could i take the ECU out of my dead bravo and put it in the replaceement one should i have any problems with the ECU and the red key.

My current dead bravo is an R reg 1.6sx the new one would be an N reg 1.4

The ECU's will not be compatable...

You will be lucky to get them to fit if both were the same model...
