red key

hey guys,from three months when i bought my bravo , the dealer didnt give any red keys. he gave me only the no on a small iron plate. is is enough?? and do i have to bring this key, especially that he doesnt have it??

The red key is the most important key. If you haven't got it go back to the dealer and demand it. Without the red key you wont be able to get a new key cut and programmed. If the red key is lost then a new ecu and immobileser is needed (or at least one of these).
I'm prety sure the dealer is in breach of some sort of trading laws for supplying the car without the red key.

Does the loss of a red key only really become an issue if you loose one or more of your two blue ones, and need to get another cut?

if the ecu is buggered, wouldn't that mean a new un and new chips all round anyway??
