wat can be done if u dont have a red key and u need to get a key cut..

I believe you would be very unlucky, and fiat would take about 800 squids off you for a new key.

Sorry I know thats not what you want to hear.

Nic :(

I think good key-cutters can clone your blue key ok, but Nicola's right about the red key - v.v.v. expensive from Fiat

so if i get my blue key cut will the cut key start the car??

how about the immobilizer check? When you turn the key one step and wait, the key light on the console should go off so that you can start the engine, and this is accomplished by a small circuit in the key, no?

I saw an advert on ebay, that this company can cut you a red and 2 blue keys for 180 quid.

They need a couple of things, cant remember what exactly. I'll see if I can find the advert again.

The reason a replacement red key costs 800 quid is because they change the immobiliser, door locks, ignition etc completely. This company can simply remake a red key with the same immob code n such, hence why its so much cheaper.

they can't do all fiats, so you'll need to email them first with your ecu number. there is a list of ecu's they can do.

also, if you have no keys at all, they can make a skeleton key from the boot lock.
