I loved series 1-6, but those after were horrible. Filled with awful out of character traits and terrible jokes that didn't show the quirkiness and inventiveness of the previous series. I hope this isn't going to be like that, but the last few series they showed were feckin awful. Plus, Kochanski wasn't Scottish ala Claire Grogan of the first series.
Anyway though, fingers crossed it'll be a return back to form. I guess this could be how the failed attempt to make a movie could finally be brought to life![]()
muppet42 said:All I can say is, damn, that was horrendous. No audience laughter, dodgy camera views as they'd suddenly decided to rap-around sets and terrible, awful jokes. And I mean jokes that were worse than the previous rubbish jokes. In seasons 1-6, many of the jokes were pretty lame, but in a way that made them brilliant. Now though, they're just plain lame all over. It's so depressing that this reincarnation has "fail" written all over it
Dave then compounded it by having an episode from season 6 then 5(?) then 7 afterward, a sequence that made no sense whatsoever. Damn you Dave, damn you and your witty banter all to hell :furious:
Of course, this is just my opinion. I'm sure some people liked it![]()

Although, one thing I did laugh at (now that I remember it) was the new girl reciting how she planned to get Lister back to Earth - she didn't miss a beat!
