Recommended Machinists?

Hi guys

I'm in Retford, Nottinghamshire. I'm after somewhere that'd be able to lighten a crankshaft and flywheel and then balance it all up. I'd hope Nottingham/Sheffield to be honest as neither are too far from me.

Any recommendations?

hi, "lightened + balanced",
is something you'll only get done well at a proper engine workshop,

"oselli" are a well know place down here, as are FJ Payne..,

but there Should be somewhere near you..,

last 2 or 3 pages of "autotrader" used to have such places listed..
( YES - I'm THAT OLD..!!)
