recommendation in yorkshire near to me

Betacar, Bradford. Alfa/fiat/lancia specialist, really know thier stuff and IIRC £30/hour labour, which is pretty reasonable.

Always take my punto there and they always do a good job (y)

Can't find a working number for these :(
I've tried 01535275560, but that says they are not trading(n)
Anyone?

well, i have it booked into ted johnsons in barnsley, will report back how i get on (y)

hopefully i will get a nice gp punto courtesy car, not a crappy chevvy like stonecare :D

we take ours to nationwide autocentres in castleford. My boyfriends bother in law owns the garage there. He more or less rebuilt our uno, would really recommend him

I can recommend a couple of lads that have just started up in Wakefield called Neil and Stuart. They have a garage on the Thornes industrial estate in the area. Neil was my dads apprentice and Stuart is a Friend of my dads. They are actually Jaguar specialists but will takle anything. They have all the diagnostic equipment for the Stilo's and can reset the service computer etc. They have recently changed the cambelt on my Dad's 1.9 jtd and on my sisters 1.9JTD. Also done my 1.8 petrol. They were way cheaper than Picadilly. Picadilly quoted £540ish for service and cambelt change. I got the genuine parts from GGB at Bradford (who Neil and Stu now have the number for) which cost £120 and they did the work for £115 including service computer reset. By my reckoning that makes them £300 cheaper. Stu is an electronics expert with cars aswell so like I said they will takle anything.:slayer::slayer::slayer:

I know what you are saying about Picadilly, after the family dealing with them now for 13 years and buying 13 cars off of them they have gone down hill on their customer service bigstyle. We had a very simalar experience with them recently and will never deal with them again. Mainly down to my dads motor constantly going back in for repair after shoddy repair made by them. In the end they refused to work on the car as they acused us of sabotage.:confused::confused: As though we liked taking the car back to them every week for the same repair they fixed the week before. I kid you not £10500 worth of warranty claims and car returned to them 85 times! Not good at all.:cry:

Give N and S a buzz. Unit 3, Russell St, Wakefield, West Yorkshire WF1 5QS
Tel: 01924 831140 .They will be more than happy to help you out.;);):slayer:(y) The car hasn't gone back once since they took over our motors in the family ( 4 FIATS 3Stilos 1 Punto).

would reccomend ted johnson (y)

my car past its service with no probs except needing a new horn, they said it was a warranty job without me even asking if it was :D

great customer service, facilities, and friendly smiley faces (y)

they also let me test drive the new 500 by myself (and my younger sister came with me), which was nice

I can recommend TED JOHNSON, in Barnsley. Not had a lot of dealings wth them but they have been good whe I have had to take mine in.

Had a few cars from Evans Fiat in Horsforth they even gave me lifts to/from work a few years ago. I live in leeds so not too bad for me getting to it but for non locals the train station is only five minutes walk up the road, two stops to leeds city centre.

Also CW Lear in Keighley are very good, but they are turly a pig to get to. Helped me no-end with my 156 selespeed, saved me a few quid by giving me pointers when stuff was going wrong (it was a selespeed lol, it was always going wrong).
