Technical Rear Washer Failure.

I know this will please a lot of older multi owners, it seems that even the newer multi's suffer from this common problem discussed in earlier threads.
My rear washer failed the other day and guess what? it was the water pipe that had fallen off.
A really easy job to fix that probably saved myself at least an hour of Fiat's labour time. The trickiest thing was actually removing the plastic tailgate cover.
A big thanks to everyone involved in the earlier thread about this particular problem.

I had to do mine (07 plate) about a month ago. Really cold weather, guess the ice had got into the pipe, tried using the washer and nothing but water coming out from the bottom of the tailgate.

I did think at the time, would it be worth glue the pipe to the unit, didn't do it mind.

Mine's an 05 plate and just by looking at it there doesn't seem to be anything from stopping it falling out, i suspect with the motion of opening & closing the boot after a period of time it will work loose again.

I had this problem too, there doesn't seem to much at all holds it in but for what its worth mines still ok about a year later.
