My dealer is attempting to charge me £144 to re-attach the rear wash that has become detached under the front windscreen plastic scuttle. I want to attempt to do this myself but the scuttle is attached by plastic rivets although they are made to look like screws.
Has anybody removed these and if so as you appear to have to break them where did you get a replacement?

Thanks

That is alot of money for both of you. I have also attempted this, whilst breaking the tab above the front windscreen wiper.

It is easy, just take off the plastic there should be a tube of which the washing goes through, and you should be able to re-attach. Aparently it happens to alot of Fiat 500's.

Sorry not too specific, but my knowledge on cars isn't brilliant, but hope it helps? :)

Just replace the 'plastic rivets' with proper bolts & washers & it'll be better than new . I used some little black ones I had lying around.
