Hi,

I have a 2015 500x cross. I recently replaced the old radio unit with the newer Uconnect 7 inch. The car does not have a rear view camera from factory. Does it come with the original wiring harness in the trunk lid? I know that I can install an aftermarket kit but I would like to know if I can fit the oem one, with the best possible functionality. Using Multiecuscan I saw an option about rear view camera, so I figured out that the BCM supports it. If there is no harness, would it be possible to run a new one to the BCM and adding the pins to the couplings? I found the couplings into this thread.

Thanks in advance

I have a 2013 lounge but I ran a new cable and camera for a new radio. It wasn't too bad except for the hatchback. I took out the back seats and most of the side panels and molding. This gave the added benefit of installing heat shielding and sound deadening padding. I did the floor and both sides. I was a lot of work but it was worth it and fun actually.
