hey. my car needs (bravo 1.8 hlx with ABS) a new trailing arm apparently as the bush has gone and you can't just replace the bush.

Has the fiat marea weekend sx got the same arm as its the only car at our scrap yard with ABS. Fiat want 120 +VAT. No chance.

Or has anyone got one lying around in their garage/ know of any.

Any help really appreciated. Dan

ok, researched and found that macfobell do a repair kit for the arms, but does anybody know what bush and where i can buy one? I'm guessing that is all that is required as there is horizontal movement/play when you lift the wheels (no sarcastic comments). Dan

You can get the kits for Puntos at most motor factors for about £18 trade. I've used a couple for my Tempra- the bearings (they are not bushes), seals & thrust washers are the same but the Punto pivot tube & bolt are shorter. I reused my tube & bolt with the new bearings, thrusts & seals. I don't know if the Bravo uses the same bearings etc (i'd guess so) but you should be able to get the kits easily, since its much newer than my tempra. Fortunately neither of our Bravos need rear suspension doing!
