rear speakers

i need some help on choosing some rear speakers that fit into the ready made slots (next to the parcel shelf) in my brava , ive seen some 10cm pioneer speakers
http://www.halfords.com/shop/item.asp?id=676106 for £21.99 - is that the right size and is that a good price for what they are? im only loking for some speakers to fit the holes for the time being(will upgrade in future) will they fit?

No, the standard rear speakers are 13cm.
Your best bet are proberbly the Pioneer E-motion range.
Will cost you about £50.

i went to halfords today and bought some sony speakers a little more than i wanted to pay (£40) but the guy said only them would fit and they are prety mint quality!

well i never!

went to halfords - very helpful etc etc, bought some Sony XS-A1326 13cm Speakers for £39.99 - not too bad!
went to uncles house to get them fitted only to find out there is no power in the rear speaker cables , nothing was coming out and he said the cables not connected - any comments on this would be grand!

yeah im off to halfords today the speakers are fine - he said one of 3 that would fit andthey sounded really good in the shop , just couldnt get anything out of them seems as though the cable is not sending anything down it - any suggestions?my uncle said the radio may not be a 4 speaker system and cant take the new ones - can anyone shead light on this?

When i had my standard radio, my rear speakers didn't work.
After putting in a different CD headunit, it now works perfectly.
Looks like the standard one only has 2 channels for the front speakers.

found to be the same problem!!! i was about to say that but you already have - im now in the process of saving for a new head unit!
