Technical Rear speakers in my B

I have been looking to put some speakers in the rear compartment, I have looked at various possibilities, seen on eBay the housing that you can have that covers the hood compartment, not sure I want to cover that area up as it's good to put soft items in. Behind the seats was another option but that is sheet steel and I would think part of the strength of the car likewise the section between the boot and hood compartment is also in steel so not many options. has anybody installed speakers into the headrests? Or any other locations.

The sheet metal you mention behind the seats does unbolt and the fuel tank is behind it however, there may be enough room to sink a pair of speakers (smallish ones) at the top of the panel, you could always investigate that?

In my opinion the only thing you should/can do is fit an active (and slim) subwoofer behind the seat. "Injuring" the car is not something I would recommend. dimitris_original has posted pictures of this. Have a look.

OK I didn't realise that that panel unbolted so I will check out that option.
I do like the active sub, but I am tall and have my seat right back not to sure of the room.

buy the original sub-woofer for the Barchetta.
it fits perfect.
