General Rear seats

Hi all
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix a broken rear seat release mechanism on a panda 2015
It has a 70/30 split rear seat,the 30% part folds ok ,but the mechanism on the 70% seams not to work, there is no resistance on the lever ,and this part of the seat does not move.
I did come across a post that suggests that this part of the rear seat is designed not to move,can anyone support this as an fiat option,and it is only the 30% part that does fold down,it's a bit confusing

My 2016 model has 70/30 split seats, both parts move ok. Sorry, don't know why yours doesn't though.

Yeah,thanks,I think both parts move on mine,but the release mechanism on the 70% side appears to be broken,it's not releasing the back,just need to know how to get to this part to maybe do a repair,I have not long had this panda so was not up to date on how the rear seat operated,thanks for your input ,at least I now know they both should fold
