General Rear Seat Not Locking

Hi All

Just bought and 04 Ulysse and have a slight problem......the seat behind the driver just slides back and forth on its runner and will not lock in place. The problem seems to be to do with the runners as, when I move the seats around, seats that will lock on other runners will not lock on this one. :bang:

I am wondering if there is an adjustment needed to the runners themselves?

Any help gratefully received.

First check theres nothing in the runners (especially under the flaps, find all sorts of pens,pencils,sweets,toys in them.

Thanks for the tip. Have checked the runners. Clean as a whistle. Is there any way to alter the runners or could there be a mechanical problem with the seats themeleves? Anyone had to get a similar problem resolved by a garage?

If other seats dont lock in this position (and assuming this seat locks into position in other seat runners) then your looking at a fault with the floor mounted runner (possible distorted)

Nothing to lose have you? I'm trying to remember/picture them...is there a plastic surround around them(can you remove it)?

Yes, there are plastic surrounds and they are removable.....inside the runners there are also a couple of bolts with star / alun key heads. Do you think it is a) worth removing the plastic surround or b) worth trying to play with the bolts.

From the man with the 7 seater....that is actually a 3 seater! Hahaha
