Have just changed out fiat 500 abarth with factory fitted parking sensors to 595 Trofeo. The issue is didn't realise until had picked up the car that there were no parking sensors! I know, just thought they were a standard fit, how stupid was that!. As its wife car she would like the sensors back, so tried to get fiat to give a price to retrofit but cant get a price from them despite they keep saying they will call me back with a price, though assume it isnt going to be cheap.

So my questions are :-

Does any one have approx cost for dealer fit?

Are there any good off the shelf kits and how easy are they to fit, the reversing light is in the rear bumper, but guess still need to get connection unit and speaker into the boot? Have seem some will colour code the sensors

How about mobile fitters, have seen prices around £125 has anyone used these and any good?

Thanks

If you just want "parking sensors " and not factory that may give distance on the dash then any kit off EBay for £15 Will be fine, that's what I have on our Mazda and are painted to match the car, though that would be a 4 sensor kit not 3 ie found the cheap kits generally very accurate bar the odd indication(exhaust gasses can confuse them on a cold day but not an issue)

I fitted these myself! OEM looking from eBay! Cheap as chips and come with the circular cutting tool just hook up to reverse light wire & a good earthing point and job done!
Never go to a dealer! It won’t be cheap!!!! They are a rip off
