Yes SDB is correct. If you open your boot you will find two bolts (Very weird looking bolts I may add) at the top and bottom inline where you lights are on the outside (obviously)
Unscrew those and they simply come out. But please take our advice and just tint them!
They look hella lot better IMO

Please dont!
Just tint your original ones...
In the MK2 there are just two bolts in either side that you unscrew, im sure its the same in a MK1 so just look for some bolt holes at the top and bottom near your lights

But tinting my original ones will make them look cheap i thought i would get something a bit stylish with a different layout of brake lights etc

Hmmm its up to you, IMO lexus lights aren't stylish! i dont think tinting makes them look cheap, as long as the finish is good, you can get professionally tinted ones for less that lexus lights

If you can get tinted mk1 rear lights cheaper than these on ebay i might consider buying them.

They are cheap cos they are :yuck:

Tinted lights can't be beaten, but if you are gonna tint, either, don't give as many coats to your reflectors (it looks ok, cos they are at the bottom)
Or, if you are wanting them all the same covering, then you will have to put extra reflectors on the body of the car in another place...either that or run the risk of getting nicked.

Also, be warned, rear lights/indicators are not the best on a punto anyways...the darker the tint, the harder it is for the person behind you to see what you are gonna do next...plenty of people have them done...just be aware :)

Yeah i fully understand but people generally tint them to go darker anyway

Yep, but just saying they are not legal when tinted.....esp if you no longer have a working reflector....it's no good saying, 'Sorry officer, they kinda sparkle a lil in the dark with a light 2m away'

I'm not saying don't do it...I prefer them tinted, I just haven't done it too dark on my green car, cos I have kids in the car a lot of the time and I don't like being pulled over.

And also, no-one had pointed it out to you that they are not road legal....so just to be sure and to show that we are a responsible forum ;) lol
